Daily Walk Through the New Testament
November 1
Read Romans 3:19-4:12

Romans 3:23 says we all have a problem that must be addressed: we were born sinful and separated from a holy God. This holy God longs for a relationship with us, but our sin stands in the way. It robs us from having fellowship with Him and prevents us from ever living up to God’s standard. On our own, we’ll always fall short of the mark.
It doesn’t matter how good you are. It doesn’t matter if you can point to grand achievements in life or if your name is written on a church membership. You cannot work hard enough to earn salvation — so quit trying! Fellowship with God is made possible only through a relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. He gives you the gift of salvation when you place your faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Do you need to turn from sin and self in repentance? Will you turn to Christ in faith and trust Him as Savior? If you already have, give thanks to God and share your faith with someone today.
