Daily Walk Through the New Testament

October 29
Read Romans 1:1-27

It’s been said that darkness is the absence of light. If God’s people would let their light shine brighter in the world, there would be less darkness to prevail. After all, Jesus told His followers, “You are the light of the world. . . . Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14, 16). However, many Christians seem ashamed to take a stand and tell others about God’s beauty and majesty.
All of creation was designed to bring God glory (Romans 1:20). We must let the light of Christ shine through us, as it does throughout all creation. There has never been a greater need for the children of God to stand up with the rest of creation and proclaim the good news.
Don’t be ashamed to live for Christ today. Stand tall! Be bold! Remember that you were created to be an expression of God to a world that He loves, a world that desperately needs Him!
